Jérez de la Frontera is located in the countryside in the interior of the province of Cadiz (28 kms from the city of Cadiz). It is a delightful place with a lot of charm and tradition. Jérez is well known for its Spanish horses, wine, sherry and flamenco. Over the centuries Jerez has been the home to various different cultures all of which have left their mark but without a doubt the Moors left the biggest impression. It also has one of the best golf courses in Spain. Jérez has a small airport 5 kms away where some cheap flights to Spain operate. It is also well connected by road.
