I slept in until about 11 again today which was lovely. I have to admit I think Spain is having a funny effect on me. I've been dreaming nearly every night - last night I dreamt that my teeth fell out. I was running around showing everyone. They hadn't even been wobbly! They were just popping out of my mouth one after the other. Very odd. Becky and I are going to look into what it might mean.
I read loads of my book today. It's the first of the "Sword of Truth" series by Terry Goodkind. A good fantasy book if anyone is interested. Some friends of Becky and Andreas' came round at 1pm with their 18 month baby Ruben. We went to the pool with them and then came back and had fishy style Paella for lunch. I don't remember trying paella when I was in Mallorca so that was another first for me! And very nice too. I'm a huge fan of rice!!
To amuse David we put on Monsters Inc after lunch. Shortly followed by Finding Nemo. I could hardly keep my eyes open during the 2 films. With the sunshine and a full belly it was really nice to just slowly conk out on the sofa.
After everyone had gone home I sat on the patio out back and read my book. David went to a friend´s house to play Gameboy and Becky fell fast asleep on the sofa for an hour. We had dinner once everyone was back and awake and then Becky put David to bed. I phoned Joe, who I had been missing like crazy and then headed to bed. I will be glad to get back to the routine of another school week, even if it is the last before the holidays.
However, David and I are going to be moving into number 27 tomorrow, because Andreas and Becky have to go to Madrid for some work meetings, they will only be gone one, maybe two, nights. Abuela will still be around so we'll manage. Let's just see how he responds to my authority without Becky for backup!
