Lumbre Real de Arrabal, 5 Toledo 925 220 373 | Lovely
stylish restaurant which has become more and more popular in recent years. Good,
well-presented food using simple ingredients served in elegant surroundings so
you are advised to dress accordingly. Delicious desserts. The winelist includes
some good local wines - let the staff advise you. |
| | Asador
Adolfo De la Granada, 6 Toledo 925 252 321 | One
of Toledo's classic restaurant. "Asar" is the Spanish word for "roast"
and asadores are restaurants specialising in roasted (or grilled) meat. But Asador
Adolfo is much more than that. The owner of this restaurant, Adolfo Muñoz,
is quite a local personality and makes regular appearances on regional television.
His restaurant offers customers imaginative dishes based on local ingredients
and his winelist is regarded by experts as one of the best in Spain. Definitely
worth a visit. The set menu costs around 40 euros. |
| | La
Ermita Ctra Circunmvalación Toledo 925 253 193 | One
of the best things about this restaurant, aswell as the food of course, is its
location overlooking the beautiful city of Toledo with wonderful views. Creative
cooking once again based on local ingredients and attentive service combine to
make this one of Toledo's most attractive - and lesser known - restaurants. |

worth visiting the castle next door and tasting the food served in the parador
restaurant. |
