The CAM is the Mediterranean Savings Bank and although it has offices all over Spain, most CAM banks customers live in the province of Alicante.

The Caja de Ahorros del Mediterraneo has over 100 international branches, mostly in towns popular with tourists along the Costa Blanca, although some are as far away as the Canary Islands. The employees of these international branches can usually speak several languages, and so clients are able to talk at ease in their own language about the financial products available to them.

Each year the CAM also organises an impressive range of social and cultural activities for all ages in most towns throughout the Province of Alicante. Programmes are available in CAM branches and are worth checking out even if you can't speak Spanish because they include concerts, art exhibitions, computer and art classes as well as lectures and other cultural events organised specifically for retired people.

The CAM website is available in English here: http://www.cam.es/cam/in/index.htm
