1. Peel the pears, cut in half length ways and remove the cores
2. Heat the sunflower oil in a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat and place
the pears in the pan turning them over so that all sides are golden brown (about
5 mins)
3. Sprinkle the dessert wine over the pears -
cover the frying pan and cook until the pears soften (another 5 mins approx)
4. Remove the pears from the frying pan and place on a plate flat side facing upwards
5. Pour the remaining juice in the fryng pan over the
pears.
