1. Roll out the pastry and place in a greased pie dish (approx 20cms across)
prick with a fork
2. Peel and thinly slice the apples
3. Cover the pastry with the apple slices and place in a preheated oven (180 degrees)
for approx 30 mins
4. Remove from the oven and spread the apricot
jam over the apple - set aside to cool before serving
Tips and ideas
- For
best results, if you live in Spain, use the variety of apples called "reineta".
Otherwise use golden delicious. Don't use cooking apples.
- Serve with fresh
cream or vanilla ice cream
