Gary Moore dead in Spain

The British guitar player and ex member of Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore, arrived in Spain at midday yesterday. However, he was found dead in his hotel room during the early hours of this morning. The circumstances surrounding his death are not known. He was staying in a luxury hotel in Estepona in the Costa del Sol.

Accoridng to the police, Moore’s body showed no signs of violence. An autopsy will be carried out by the Forensic Institute of Malaga in order to find out the exact causes of Moore’s death and if necessary an investigation into the causes of his death will be opened.

Gary Moore was born in Belfast in 1952. The musical career of this legendary blues and rock guitarist began when he was just 16 years old when he joined the band ‘The Boys’. He released over 30 records as a solo artist and a dozen or so recorded with various groups and muscicians. His most famous collaborations were with Ozzy Osbourne, the singer of Black Sabbath, and Thin Lizzy.

Moore gained musical success all over the world and on more than 15 occasions was one of the most listened to artists in the United Kingdom.
