Freezing weather in Spain

The State meteorological Agency (Aemet) has warned of freezing temperatures in 33 provinces in Spain. According to Aemet temperatures could reach as low as -10ºC in the interior due to a mass of cold air which entered the north of the Peninsula yesterday afternoon and which is forecast to reach central and southern areas today.

Freezing temperatures are forecast to continue and could drop to -12ºC in Teruel. However, a slight improvement in temperatures is forecast for southern parts of Spain.
