Verbos and preposiciones in inglés: Think of y Think about

En inglés hay muchas combinaciones de verbos mas preposiciones con diferentes significados. Aqui vamos a ver 'think of' y 'think about'.

A veces hay muy poca diferencia entre think of y think about

I’m thinking about/of going abroad for a year.
I am thinking about/of buying a new washing machine.

Se usa solo think about cuando significa considerar por ejemplo:

Do you want to go to the cinema or the theatre?...I’m not sure. Can I think about it for a few minutes?

Se usa solo think of cuando significa recordar, tener un idea ó opinion

I can’t think of the word in Spanish.
What do you think of classical music?
I’ve thought of title for the new book!
