A pesar del misterio del mecanismo, o tal vez por ello, los investigadores ya empiezan a explotar el efecto.<\/p>\n<p>Bruce Chehroudi y Stephen Danczyk del US Air Force Research Laboratory de la base aerea de Edwards en California han descubierto que unos nanotubos colocados a un milimetro de una gotita de metano o combustible l\u00edquido de cohetes (RP-1) pueden encender la gota al serle aplicados destellos de luz.
