Sin embargo, la inversi\u00f3n experimenta un crecimiento constante: seg\u00fan un nuevo informe de Lux Research, titulado \u201cMaking Sense of Nanotech Venture Capital\u201d, los inversores institucionales de capital riesgo han destinado, en 2005, 480 millones de d\u00f3lares a financiar el arranque de la nanotecnolog\u00eda (la inversi\u00f3n total realizada desde 1995 alcanza as\u00ed los 2.000 millones de d\u00f3lares).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa inversi\u00f3n del capital riesgo en nanotecnolog\u00eda experiment\u00f3 un fuerte incremento en 2005 debido a grandes partidas de financiaci\u00f3n en fase tard\u00eda destinadas a empresas como Aspen Aerogels, Nanomix y Nanosys\u201d, ha dicho el vicepresidente de Lux Research  Matthew M. Nordan, autor principal del informe. \u201cPero el capital riesgo sigue siendo una gota en el cubo de la inversi\u00f3n total en nanotecnolog\u00eda, superado en un factor de 19x por el gasto empresarial en I+D y la financiaci\u00f3n del gobierno.
