La traducci\u00f3n del ADN ayudar\u00e1 a los cient\u00edficos a examinar la causa de enfermedades hereditarias como el c\u00e1ncer de mama.<\/p>\n<p>El profesor Peixuan Guo, Doctor del <i>College of Engineering and Applied Science<\/i> y Director del <i>NIH Nanomedicine Development Center<\/i> es coautor del trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n, \u201cTranslocation of double-stranded DNA through membrane-adapted phi29 motor protein nanopores\u201d, publicado en la revista <i>Nature Nanotechnology<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>El proceso consisti\u00f3 en incorporar el nanoporo del motor de ADN phi29 en la membrana de un liposoma o en l\u00e1minas planas de la membrana y hacer pasar el ADN de doble hebra a trav\u00e9s del poro. El nanomotor que envuelve el ADN phi29 es el que permite que pase.
