La empresa Gettys, de Chicago, y el Hospitality Design Group reunieron, a principios de año, a 100 expertos del sector de compañías como Starwood Hotels, Whirlpool y Phillips & Co para dilucidar qué tecnología esperarán encontrar en sus alojamientos los turistas del futuro. El resultado han sido 1000 ideas, de las cuales muchas se han desvelado ya en la Global Exposition and Conference for Hospitality Design celebrada en Miami en Septiembre. Entre ellas se encuentran la incorporación de botones robot y cuartos de baño que monitorizan la salud. Una de las principales ideas, que consiste en convertir las habitaciones de
