Sus vecinos, Picasso o las torres financieras de Caja Madrid; BBVA, el centro comercial de El Corte Ingl\u00e9s entre otras han visto derrumbarse uno de los s\u00edmbolos de la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>El edificio Windsor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No sabemos si su nombre tiene relaci\u00f3n con <a href=\"http:\/\/www.euroresidentes.com\/Blogs\/rodriguez_zapatero\/2005\/02\/zapatero-y-mr-windsor.html\">la casa Windsor<\/a>.  Algunos datos.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Se levant\u00f3 en 1979<\/li>\n<li>Altura: 106 metros <\/li>\n<li>Plantas: 28<\/li>\n<li>Octavo edificio m\u00e1s alto de Madrid<\/li>\n<li>Estructura: hormig\u00f3n, revestido de grandes cristaleras y aluminio<\/li>\n<li>Uso: centro de negocios conocido como Azca<\/li>\n<li>20.000 metros cuadrados, (mayor parte dedicados a oficinas)<\/li>\n<li>Autor: arquitecto Pedro Casariego y  Genaro Alas<\/li>\n<li>Propietarios: familia Reiz\u00e1bal (conocidos empresarios dedicados a negocios del espect\u00e1culo).<\/li>\n<li>Inquilinos: Auditor\u00eda Deloitte, entre otros.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Un incendio acaba con la Torre<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Desde hace aproximadamente un a\u00f1o, la Torre Windsor estaba siendo remodelada. Las obras estaban a punto de terminar cuando las llamas lo devoraron. El revestimiento  no soport\u00f3 los efectos del fuego y se desplom\u00f3 casi por completo dejando al denudo su estructura de hormig\u00f3n.
