Shiler de la University of Yale, ha causado un gran impacto a la hora de visualizar mejor la percepci\u00f3n de los incrementos de precios que han tenido lugar en el mercado inmobiliario de los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p>Shiller ha creado un \u00edndice hist\u00f3rico de precios de la vivienda en los Estados Unidos que se remonta a 1890 (Indice =100 en 1890).<\/p>\n<p>Si una casa supongamos que fue vendida en 1890 por 100.000 d\u00f3lares (a precios actuales), un casa est\u00e1ndar equivalente habr\u00eda sido vendida en en 1920 a 66.000 d\u00f3lares (66%) y a 199.000 d\u00f3lares en 2006 (199%, o lo que es lo mismo un 99% m\u00e1s que en 1890). Visto as\u00ed quiz\u00e1s los incrementos no son tan exagerados.
