The clinical trials which were carried out on African babies just a few weeks old appear to have demonstrated the efficiency of the new vaccine.  <\/p>\n<p>The results of the study were presented in a press conference held in the Clinical Hospital in Barcelona yesterday. Speaking via video link from Seattle, Pedro Alonso said the results represented a \u2018milestone in the fight against Malaria\u2019. <\/p>\n<p>The trial was carried out in Mozambique in the province of Manhi\u00e7a which is situated to the south of the country. Over two hundred babies between 10 and 18 weeks old participated in the trial and all of them responded satisfactorily to the vaccine.
