Perhaps its just as well for I wrote about the polls’ suggestion that the result would be a dead heat between the Tories and Labour. In fact to everyone’s surprise, the Conservatives won with a clear majority, Labour have lost many constituencies and the Liberal Dems have collapsed. The Scot Nationals rule north of the boarder. Their wish was to end Tory rule – which was true of all the minor parties –
