Sol Pérez is one of the best ambassadors for the Mediterranean and especially for the city of Ilici
(Elche), a World Heritage Site. Artistically she has been influenced by masters like Arcadio Blasco and by the characteristics of her home country. She has been able to use her artistic skills to transmit both sensibility and life.
Her contributions to Euroresidentes
include:
- Levante
cuisine: Elche has the advantage of having rich Mediterranenan influences
and being deeply rooted in Valencian culture. Its geopgraphical location means
it can draw on influences from the north, south or interior of the province. Nowadays,
more than ever, creative cuisine needs a strong cultural identity taken from popular
knowledge and tradition and Euroresidentes regards its section on Levante cuisine
very highly.
- Photography: Sol is an excellent photographer and
we have been lucky to have access to some of her photos for our section on gardening.
See photos of palm trees, gardens, roses, cactus and plants. Soon she wil be having
a photography book published related to the world of palm trees.
- Design
and decoration: Sol has also helped in our decoration and interior design
section. Infact she has a shop in Elche Tornasol (Plaza de la Fregassa,
