This restaurant is
located in the North
of the city in la calle
Velázquez. The
minimalist decor is
modern and simple. It
has a very nice Japanese
style terrace with a
garden and pond.
Benjamín Calles
and his chef Alberto
Chicote have tried to
create a Japanese restaurant
with clear Mediterranean
influences to the great
satisfaction of their
clientele. Original
dishes beautifully presented.
Alberto Chicote (with
previous experience
working in top class
restaurants such as
Lúculo, Zalacaín,
Toñi
Vicente or El
Cenador de Salvador)
attempts to create a
balance between the
use of traditional ingredients
alongside more exotic
ones from Japan, India,
China or Thailand.
Javier Villa is in
charge of the dining
room. A good selection
of Riojas and Riberas
del Duero on the wine
list as well as some
French wines, dessert
wines, cavas and champagnes.
Good value for money.
Reservations recommended.
