| This restaurant has been in Madrid for almost
a decade. It offers Basque-Navarran cuisine in a typical Basque style restaurant.
It is among the best of its kind in Madrid. Dantxari's team Antonio Alonso,
Jesús Medina and Eduardo Navarrina are well experienced and have spent
time in restaurants such as Jockey, El
Amparo and Gaztelupe. Excellent use of seasonal products and magnificent
dishes such as 'pil pil' and their unbeatable cod croquetas. Some innovative
dishes alongside the more tradtional such as whole bread ice cream which consists
of brown bread and brown sugar accompanied by coffee cream. Good service.
It's a good idea to reserve a table especially on bank holidays. Good selection
of wines on the wine list. |
