What to do and see in the Moraira?

Moraira-Teulada

Moraira

La Marina Alta is a great place to spend a restful few days. This area, in the north of the province of Alicante, is a mixture between the Costa Brava and la Costa Cálida. Mountains, pine trees and views over the Mediterranean sea in a peaceful rural setting where there is a large community of European residents (63% of the overall population) living alongside the locals who maintain their traditional way of life. The language spoken by the locals here is valenciano.

Moraira on the coast and Teulada inland are just a few minutes from eachother. Moraira used to be a small fishing harbour belonging to Teulada before it was discovered by foreigners seeking a home in the sun.
