Spanish tapas recipe: Mushrooms

Basic ingredients:

 







 
 



 





 

 





 
 

  • 1/2 kg mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • parsley (optional)
Steps to making Spanish mushrooms:

 

1. Clean the mushrooms and slice them leaving the slices quite chunky

2. Place 4 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan, heat the oil and then add the mushrooms and chopped onion - season with salt and pepper

3. Fry the mushrooms and onion slowly over a low heat for about 15 mins keep stirring

4. Finally add 1 tbsp flour and stir into the mixture for a further 5 mins - place in a serving dish

 

Tips and ideas:

  • You can add a dried chilli to the mushrooms and onion to make it a bit spicier if you prefer
  • Also works well as a side dish
  • You can also sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley just before serving
