Steps:

Remove the rough outer leaves of the artichoke , rub with a little lemon juice
and boil in salted water for about 15 mins - remove from the water and drain

Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the chopped onion and garlic
for a few mins until the onion softens, then add the breadcrumbs and fry for a
few more mins until the breadcrumbs become crisp
3. Add the lemon
juice to the frying pan - season the mixture with salt and pepper
4.
Place the cooked artichokes on a plate, cut in halves, pour the mixture over
them and serve immediately
