1. Remove the rough peel from the pineapple and slice into rectangular pieces
2. Place the pineapple pieces in a non-stick frying pan
over a medium heat together with the sunflower oil and cook so that the pineapple
turns golden brown
3. Remove from the heat and pour the
rum over the pineapple letting it mix with the pineapple juice in the frying pan
4. Place the golden pineapple pieces in a dish and pour
over the remaining liquid from the pan and serve.
