1. Peel 4 of the oranges and cut into thin round slices
2. Squeeze half an orange - set aside
3. Place the peel from
half an orange, the cloves, the cinnamon stick, juice from half the orange and
the sugar in a pan and heat slowly
4. Remove the orange
peel, cloves and cinnamon stick from the liquid and add the wine - continue heating
for a few minutes
5. Place the orange slices in a serving
dish and pour the liquid over the oranges - refrigerate before serving
